A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US
Rev. Steve & Sharmin
Founders and Directors of FFM
Steve and Sharmin Fischer, founders of Fischer Family Ministries, have been ministering, along with their whole family, in Hong Kong, China, and Asia for the last eleven years, through Bible schools and leadership training seminars. They are renowned for helping people to grow spiritually through clear, practical teaching of God’s Word, demonstrations of the Holy Spirit, and a genuine love for people. In December, 2007, they planted and are the senior pastors of Faith Family Christian Church, located in the heart of Hong Kong, China.
Married for over twenty-six years, they are the parents of four children. All of their children are greatly involved in the ministry. They and their children make regular trips into China, taking with them teams from the USA and other countries, to aid the Chinese Christian churches in Mainland China.
Both Steven and Sharmin are graduates of Rhema Bible College as well as Domata Ministers Training School in Tulsa, OK. They, along with their four children, permanently reside in Hong Kong.
We are a strategic base in Hong Kong evangelizing and discipling the next generation of unreached Chinese people and assisting pastors to impart their compassion for the lost into their church.
Our vision is to affect thousands of people every week in Hong Kong through Faith Family Church and to build an International Ministry Base for training and launching workers to Evangelize Mainland China.

WHAT WE DO
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY IN CHINA
In it’s the 8th consecutive year, the underground Christian Children’s camp touched the lives of village children in southwest China. Over 70 children received Jesus and were baptized with the Holy Spirit.
“There are more children in China than people in the USA. Will we do our part in taking the Gospel to them?”

CHINA MISSIONS TEAMS
FFM’s China Missions teams continue to carry God’s Word to every major city in China. From trips to rural mountain villages or bustling capitals, FFM carried suitcases of Bibles and Christian teaching material to believers in China. In 2016, FFM visited a city in southwest China on two different trips. Bibles were delivered; orphan children were loved; finances were donated, and lives were brought into the Kingdom of Heaven.
TO DATE, FISCHER FAMILY MINISTRIES HAS…
2003 through 2016
Taken 2,000+ people
on China missions teams
Delivered 50 tons of
Christian books into China
FFM’s China Missions Teams
FFM’s China Missions teams have ministered in Bible schools, underground churches, above-ground churches, orphanages, to widows in remote areas, to the unreached people groups, and more.
Certain mountainous regions of Southwest China have no running water, no written language, no Bible, and only a few years ago —no Christians. FFM goes to this area with teams and sends monthly support to widows and orphans. In the orphanage, all the children have been saved and filled with the Holy Spirit as well as several Chinese orphanage workers are now spirit-filled believers due to the teams we send in. Ever since the summer of 1979, when Steve went on his first missions trip to Israel, it has been in his heart to take the Gospel to the nations. He has now traveled for more than 33 years to numerous nations having participated in street evangelism, medical missions projects, crusades, mime and drama, work projects, Bible school instruction, ministering in foreign Christian schools and churches both above and underground.
Sharmin went on her first missions trip in 1985, to Austria and Switzerland participating in Bible school building projects, evangelism, singing groups. The next year she went to Singapore and several other Asian and Middle eastern countries evangelizing children and teens in schools and churches using puppets and drama and a teen phone-in evangelism
ministry. She has also ministered on the foreign field in music for churches, Bible schools, and cell groups. She has been traveling to foreign countries for over 27 years. In recent years she has been teaching in Bible schools and ministering to women especially on the subject of prayer.
Steve and Sharmin met in the youth group of their church. Steve was a youth group leader and Sharmin was in high school. The first memory Steve recounts of Sharmin occurred at the youth service when Sharmin stood up and shared of her plans to go on a missions trip to Singapore that summer. He was impressed with her desire to serve God and go to the foreign fields. Only two years later, in 1988, they were married in Longmont, Colorado and shortly moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida.
In Florida, their two boys were born, Joab and Benaiah.
While in Florida, with Sharmin at his side, Steve served as a Youth Pastor and a Sunday school teacher in their local church.
In 1992, their family of four moved to Winter Park, Colorado where their two girls were born, Jasmine and Jael.
In 1996, they felt led in their hearts to move their family of 6 to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and attend Rhema Bible College. After they graduated in 1998, they joined Pastors Mark and Janet Brazee and helped them in their new church, also located in Tulsa. In 1999, Steve and Sharmin graduated from Mark Brazee’s Domata School of Missions. Two years later, Steve accepted a position as the Dean of Mark Brazee’s Domata Ministers Training School located in Manila, Philippines. It was there that Steve and Sharmin received the direction from God to move to Hong Kong, China, to pioneer a new work.
In 2001, they moved from Manila, Philippines, to Hong Kong, China, and began the preparations for Hong Kong Ministers Training School.
In 2003, Hong Kong Ministers Training School was launched and began teaching and training future ministers and leaders in Hong Kong. HKMTS has some students who are Pastors of Churches in Mainland China.
In early 2004, the boys began traveling weekly into China, taking in materials to our Chinese Brothers and Sisters and leading groups of adults across the border doing the same.
Steve, Sharmin and their four children reside in Hong Kong, China and continue to grow and expand the ministry to which God has called their whole family.
