To Jesus, these are “the least of these.” The ones who go unnoticed and unloved. The ones whose whole villages have never heard of the Name of Jesus even once. Yet, these are the ones you are reaching!
Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
Two years ago, this woman received Jesus in her heart when FTTN team members visited her, at that time she was 103 years old. A year after her salvation, the team visited again. She shared with them that a problem had developed in her body, making breathing difficult. The team told her about Jesus’s divine healing and prayed for her. Although there weren’t immediate outward physical changes, the team showed her how to praise and thank God for her healing.
Then, this year the team visit Mashan, China again and made a special visit to this dear woman, now 105 years old. Overjoyed to see her family in God that had traveled from different countries just to be there, she was eager to tell them that she was completely healed of her sickness! The amazing part was not only that she received healing, but that she knew in her heart that it was God who healed her as she herself said many times “God healed me!”
Sharing the story of her healing to the FTTN team members…
During the visit at her home, the elderly lady’s two daughters came to visit. One of them had not heard of Jesus but was greatly touched by the love the team showed to her and her 105 year old mother. The team shared the good news to her and she accepted Jesus!

This 9 year old girl, whose Chinese name translates into English as Aloe Vera, was told about Jesus for the first time in her life while the FTTN team visited.
She listened intently to the team sharing about a God who sent His only son, Jesus, to die because of His great love for her. She immediately believed and her countenance lit up, showing the joy salvation.
She was so excited about the Bible and mini tracts she received from the team that she kept asking for more. Just as the team was leaving, the little girl’s friends came. Running up to them, she began showing them her Bible and handing out all the little tracts she had, eager to tell them the good news she just heard!

Aloe Vera’s brother and cousin, who had also never heard about Jesus before, got saved(two tall boys in the middle of pic)! All these children in the picture below are relatives of Elijah(boy on the left of pic), an orphan who was taken in by the House of Hope orphanage and saved when he was a young boy.
During the FTTN team’s trip to Mashan, they spent time at the House of Hope Orphanage, making it the 8th year in a row that the orphan’s special western friends came to see them!
At the orphanage, the team held a two and a half day camp just for the kids, well, now they’ve grown into teens, and their neighboring friends. During the camp, three ladies from the Three Self Church received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, along with one neighbor girl, and one other lady who owned a bakery….wait I thought you said this camp was for just teens? Well, most of the attendies were kids, but there were others such as the eight ladies from the Three Self Church who also joined and had as much fun as the children did! The ladies had never been in such a deep presence of God and they expressed that God was doing amazing things through the camp!

These orphans at the House of Hope are being raised up to go back to their villages, bringing the gospel with them. Already this is beginning to happen, as many of the kids are witnessing to their relatives and bringing the FTTN teams to their home villages to share the gospel.
The Chinese lady who started the House of Hope Orphanage and was raised in the area of Mashan stated, “No where in Mashan is a full time minister. No one in the area of Mashan is trained in the things of God or has attended a Bible school.”
But Praise God! It will not stay like that for long, these children will continue to be trained and grow into strong men and women of God who will go and “turn the world upside down.”
YOU are reaching these children and their villages! You are reaching “the least of these.” Every prayer, no matter how short, and every gift, no matter how small, is making a difference and paving a way for Jesus to be in someone’s heart!
We love you all and thank God for you,
